August 2022

The ISAAC Mobile Lab is off again!

This time, we're touring Europe to visit a number of organisations and historical sites. So far, we've visited the Swiss Institute of Art History in Zurich to analyse Gujarati miniatures from the Rietberg Museum collection. From there, we travelled to Mistail to examine Carolingian wall paintings in St Peter's Church. Read our 2022 road trip diary to find out more!

June 2022

The ISAAC Mobile Lab visited Cambridge University Library, taking OCT and microspectral imaging systems to examine the Nash papyrus, one of the oldest records of the Ten Commandments, and other ancient manuscripts from the collections.

May 2022

The ISAAC Mobile Lab has recently started travelling outside the UK once again following the Covid-19 pandemic. Our first trip abroad was to Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp) to study paintings by James Ensor and Paul Delvaux.
